Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Petir Petrov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Jordan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Petir Petrov has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Petrov shoots in and bounces Jordan off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Petrov is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Petrov is looking to advance position but Jordan has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

Jordan goes for an armbar but Petrov turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Petrov.
Jordan looks gassed!

Petrov thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Petrov pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jordan is keeping the position for now.

Petrov drops back looking for a leg! Jordan is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jordan manages to kick Petrov off! Petrov jumps back into Jordan's guard.

Petrov drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Jordan manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Petrov has Jordan in his guard.
Jordan advances to half guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Jordan is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Petrov doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Jordan.
Petrov moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Petrov is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Petrov working for a triangle but Jordan defends it easily.

Jordan has gone for a leg lock! Petrov slips out almost immediately though and dives into Jordan's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Petrov drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Petrov jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Petrov drops back, looking for a kneebar! Jordan looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Jordan looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Jordan!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Petrov manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Petrov actively working from the bottom here.

Petrov has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Jordan. Oh but Petrov has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Jordan goes limp - he's gone! Petrov jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
