The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Collins shoots in for a takedown but Nickells shows good takedown defense.
Nickells looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Horrible takedown by Nickells or perhaps it was just good defense by Collins which made him look bad.
Collins dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Nickells. That did some damage!
Collins lands with a kick to the ribs.

and Nickells decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Collins's guard.
Nickells postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Collins is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Nickells frees his head nicely. Oh but Collins has switched to an armbar! Nickells is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
