Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Nunchi Halonchi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antti Hirvi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Halonchi comes to the cage accompanied by Doesn´t remind me - Audioslave. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nunchi Halonchi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Antti Hirvi!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Anni Minnemäki and Tarja Halkonen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hirvi instigates a clinch.
Halonchi on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Hirvi has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Halonchi clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Halonchi avoids the strikes from Hirvi.
Halonchi wants to control his opponent's hands but Hirvi gets his hands free.
Halonchi controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.
Hirvi connects with a big shot to the side of Halonchi's head.
Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Hirvi.

Hirvi has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Halonchi has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Halonchi tries to work over Hirvi's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Halonchi drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Hirvi gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Halonchi tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Hirvi smiles and moves away.

Halonchi jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hirvi walks away with a smile on his face. Halonchi gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Halonchi ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hirvi moves away.
Halonchi tries to work over Hirvi's front leg with a kick but Hirvi checks it.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

and Hirvi finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Hirvi uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Halonchi.

A nice inside leg kick there by Halonchi. That's going to slow Hirvi down.

Halonchi chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Hirvi can pounce on him.

Halonchi jumps guard but Hirvi stands there with Halonchi around his waist. Halonchi gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Hirvi throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Hirvi wants the takedown. Halonchi is fighting it off but Hirvi persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Halonchi's guard against the cage.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

and Hirvi makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Halonchi really felt that one!

Halonchi sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Halonchi jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hirvi walks away with a smile on his face. Halonchi gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Hirvi tries to free his leg and advance position but Halonchi is retaining full guard.
Halonchi might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Hirvi is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Hirvi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Halonchi swivels though and keeps the full guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Hirvi throws a leg kick which misses Halonchi's front leg but catches the back leg as Halonchi tries to avoid it.

Halonchi is looking to wear down Hirvi with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Halonchi stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Halonchi is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Hirvi is defending well for now.

Antti Hirvi comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Hirvi has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
