Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Dave Ming Chang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Smith!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Glass and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ming Chang misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Ming Chang stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ming Chang wants it to stay on the feet.
Ming Chang comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Ming Chang decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Ming Chang trying to mount his opponent but Smith defends it.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Ming Chang is keen to just control but Smith is a slippery customer.
Smith has hold of Ming Chang's hands but Ming Chang slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Ming Chang trying to pass the guard but Smith defending well.
Ming Chang perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Ming Chang is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Smith is just riding it out for now. Ming Chang eventually gives up the hold.
Smith is not content to let Ming Chang control the position.

Ming Chang is looking to advance position but Smith won't allow it.
Ming Chang frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Smith wants to hold on but Ming Chang pushes him away.
Smith is squirming around, avoiding Ming Chang's attempts to control the action.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Smith tries to reverse the position but Ming Chang maintains control.
Smith gets back to half guard.
Ming Chang trying to pass the guard but Smith defending well.
Ming Chang is keen to just control but Smith is a slippery customer.
Smith wants to improve his position but Ming Chang is controlling well.
Smith trying to control here.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Ming Chang is looking for a kimura here.
