Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Duke Nukem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Boyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nukem kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Meet the Monster by Five Finger Death Punch. Boyle has chosen Superman Theme as his entrance music. Duke Nukem had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boyle throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Nukem.
Nukem tries a head kick but it misses.
Boyle looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Nukem slips a straight right by Boyle.
Boyle avoids a punch combination nicely.
Nukem tries to clinch there but Boyle circles away.
Nukem thumps Boyle with a low kick.
Nukem shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Boyle misses with a low kick.
Boyle throws a low kick but Nukem moves out of range easily.
Nukem throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Boyle lands a really nice looking cross but Nukem seems unphased.

It looks like Duke Nukem has been cut.

Boyle scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Nukem doesn't seem bothered though.

Nukem catches Boyle with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Nukem wants to clinch up but Boyle keeps it at a distance.

Dave Boyle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Nukem dodges the punch combination from Boyle.
Nukem tries to score a power double leg takedown but Boyle sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Nukem somewhat.

Nukem moves in looking to clinch but Boyle pushes him off.
Nukem throws a nice looking combination but Boyle bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Nukem throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Boyle lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Nukem has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Nukem and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Boyle misses with a hook. Nukem ducked under it nicely.
Boyle cracks a nice hook into Nukem's ribs.
Nukem is breathing heavily.
Boyle lands with an uppercut that bounces Nukem off the cage and back into rage.
Boyle scores with a jab. Nukem acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Duke Nukem's cut is getting worse.
Nukem circles away from the clinch attempt.
Boyle will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Dave Boyle is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

and Nukem counters with a stiff right hand.

Boyle clinches up with Nukem and pushes him back against the cage.

Boyle is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Nukem takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Boyle is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Nukem.
Nukem moves forwards but Boyle connects with a nice, crisp jab.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Boyle wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Boyle looks to land a combination but Nukem avoids it well.

Boyle misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Boyle's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Boyle duly obliges.

Duke Nukem's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Boyle dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Boyle throws a series of punches but Nukem moves out of range.
Boyle throws a good cross that connects.
Nukem tries to move into range but Boyle moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Jeez, Duke Nukem's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Boyle darts in and clinches Nukem up against the cage.
Boyle lands with a short shot to the head.
Boyle lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Boyle shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Boyle moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Nukem uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Boyle.
Boyle throws a hook but Nukem avoids it easily.

A punch lands to the side of Nukem 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Nukem bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
