Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gustaw Jelen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Samir Kahric (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Samir Kahric will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jelen walks forward, straight into a front kick from Kahric.
Jelen is trying hard to land a takedown here. Kahric sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Jelen throws a series of punches but Kahric moves out of range.

Kahric looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Jelen is looking to improve his position.

Kahric is working for a kimura but Jelen is defending it quite comfortably.

Kahric has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Jelen is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Kahric.

Kahric tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Jelen wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

That's time! Jelen's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Kahric changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jelen tries to avoid it but Kahric manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jelen to the ground. Jelen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Kahric tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jelen swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Kahric changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jelen looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Kahric doesn't have the hooks in and Jelen manages to turn into his guard.

Jelen wants to pass the guard but Kahric is keeping the position.

Kahric escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jelen gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kahric working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jelen doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jelen manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Jelen throws and elbow that misses. Kahric uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Jelen's guard. Nice move by Kahric!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Kahric drops back looking for a leg! Jelen is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jelen manages to kick Kahric off! Kahric jumps back into Jelen's guard.

Kahric tries to free his leg and advance position but Jelen is retaining full guard.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Kahric goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Jelen is on top in guard.

Jelen drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Kahric manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Jelen has Kahric in his guard.

Jelen is working to avoid the ground and pound but Kahric connects with a decent elbow.

Kahric is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Jelen is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Well Kahric has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
