And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Andrey Novikov!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Ivan Kurochkin and Aleksei Zolotukhin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Novikov shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jones as he avoids it easily.
No luck for Novikov with that takedown attempt.
Jones stuffs the takedown.
Jovani Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andrey Novikov.
Jones bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Novikov's head.

Novikov is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Novikov is looking to sinch up a triangle. Jones throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Novikov's body to avoid the submission. Novikov has instead reached around Jones's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Novikov arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
