Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Roman Emelianenko!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emelianenko stuffs the takedown attempt from Kiniski. Kiniski gets slowly back to his feet.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Kiniski shoots in looking for a takedown. Emelianenko tries to sprawl out of it but Kiniski keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Emelianenko manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Emelianenko has Kiniski pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Emelianenko pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Kiniski tumbling to the mat - Emelianenko dives into Kiniski's guard.

A close round but Roman Emelianenko will probably get the nod.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Kiniski pulls guard.

Kiniski working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Emelianenko doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Emelianenko manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
