The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith lands a nice shot to the body.
Smith lands a lovely overhand right.
Smith lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

It looks like Johnny Sanderson has been cut.
Smith swats away the attempt to clinch by Sanderson.
Smith looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
A lazy left from Smith finds it's target.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sanderson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Smith smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Oh Sanderson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Sanderson fails with an attempt to clinch.
Sanderson wants to clinch up but Smith keeps it at a distance.
Sanderson seems to have got his legs back now.
Smith takes a swing at Sanderson's ribcage but misses.
Smith lands a nice looking kick to the body. Sanderson takes a step back to recover.
Smith misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Sanderson.

Smith misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sanderson.
Smith throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Smith turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Sanderson is breathing heavily.
Smith lands with a thumping leg kick.
Smith scores with a kick to the midsection.

Smith drops Sanderson with a big left hand and mounts him. Sanderson is in big trouble!

Smith looking to control and managing it successfully.

Smith is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Sanderson is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Sanderson flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Smith anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Sanderson and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Smith slips an arm under Sanderson chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Smith has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Smith is squeezing on Sanderson like an anaconda would it's prey. Sanderson fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
