Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bingo Crocop!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Murdoch McVickers!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Tiny Johnson and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McVickers shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Crocop sprawls well. Crocop wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. McVickers gets slowly back to his feet.
Nice sprawl there from Crocop as McVickers shoots in.
Crocop slaps away a takedown attempt from McVickers, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Bingo Crocop has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Murdoch McVickers.
Crocop tries to close the distance and clinch but McVickers swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
McVickers tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Crocop swivels and escapes.
Crocop lands a big head kick that sends McVickers tumbling to the mat! Crocop takes a step backwards and waves McVickers back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Murdoch McVickers has been cut.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Crocop, as that shot connected.
Crocop lands with a big right hook that stumbles McVickers - he's out on his feet here! Crocop follows up with another monster hook that separates McVickers from consciousness! McVickers falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Crocop stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Bingo Crocop!
