Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dave Mould (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Patrick Quinlan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Mould or perhaps it was just good defense by Quinlan which made him look bad.
Quinlan is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Quinlan is trying to get back to his feet but Mould has full control of the position and if anything, Quinlan has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Quinlan is taking damage to the body and head.
Mould struggling to keep hold of the position.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Mould is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Quinlan is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Mould wants to control but Quinlan is keeping busy.
Quinlan is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Mould cracks Quinlan with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Quinlan from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.

Quinlan has Mould pressed up against the ropes. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Quinlan pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Mould tumbling to the mat - Quinlan dives into Mould's guard.
Quinlan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mould swivels though and keeps the full guard.

I think Quinlan has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
