Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alex Reid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dennis Robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Robinson has chosen N.E.R.D. - Rockstar remix as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robinson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Reid pinned against the cage. Reid gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Robinson shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Reid is trying to defend but Robinson finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Robinson is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Reid sees it coming and defends easily.
Reid trying to control from the bottom.
Robinson prevents Reid from improving his position.
Reid trying to control but Robinson postures up.
Robinson trying to control the pace.
Robinson is looking to take a break and control but Reid is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Reid knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Robinson on the ground.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Robinson keeps the fight on the outside.
Robinson takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Reid is looking to clinch but Robinson is avoiding it.

Robinson tries to keep at a distance but Reid has taken the fight into the clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Reid creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Robinson jumps guard but Reid stands there with Robinson around his waist. Robinson gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Robinson drops down looking for an ankle pick but Reid pulls his leg out and moves away.
Alex Reid has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dennis Robinson.

Robinson shoots in for a takedown but Reid shows good takedown defense.

Robinson takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

The referee is keeping an eye on Reid - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Reid unloads a knee to the mid-section. Robinson lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Reid lands an elbow that stopped Robinson in his tracks for a moment.

Reid's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Reid scores with a push kick.
Reid tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Robinson paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Robinson shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Reid throws a head kick that Robinson semi-blocks.

Reid lands a left and a right that send Robinson crashing to the mat, dazed. Reid thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Robinson is rocked!
Robinson keeps the fight on the outside.
Robinson is still on wobbly legs! Can Reid finish him?
Robinson swats away the attempt to clinch by Reid.
Reid lands a nice looking kick to the body. Robinson takes a step back to recover.
Robinson seems to have recovered his senses.

Reid has closed the distance and engaged Robinson in a clinch.

Reid leaning his opponent against the ropes.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Reid.
Reid unloads a knee to the mid-section.

Reid breaks the clinch.
Reid fails in his attempt to clinch.
Reid tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Robinson paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Reid moves in looking to clinch but Robinson pushes him off.
Robinson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Reid but Reid pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Alex Reid seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Robinson has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Reid throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Robinson colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Reid as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Robinson is left battered and dazed whilst Reid and his camp cheer!
