Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gustavo Amanicapa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mauricio Rocha!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Leandro Rodrigues and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Amanicapa misses with a head kick.
Rocha clinches.
Rocha is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Amanicapa wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Rocha has him pressed against the cage.
Rocha tries for a takedown but Amanicapa manages to get underhooks.
Rocha trying to land knees to the body.
Rocha has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Amanicapa is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Gustavo Amanicapa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mauricio Rocha.
Amanicapa stops a takedown attempt from Rocha.
Rocha displaying some good clinch control by pressing Amanicapa up against the cage.
Rocha is working for takedown but Amanicapa is calmly controlling the position for now.
Amanicapa on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Amanicapa breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Amanicapa throws a looping overhand right but Rocha ducks down to avoid it.
Amanicapa misses with a kick to the body.
Amanicapa throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

It looks like Mauricio Rocha has been cut.
Amanicapa displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Rocha.
Rocha lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Amanicapa circles away quickly and effectively.
Amanicapa connects with a solid leg kick.
Rocha looks gassed!
Amanicapa tries a head kick but it misses.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Amanicapa scoring well with a low kick there.
Amanicapa smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Rocha gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Amanicapa walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Rocha drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Amanicapa swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Rocha's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gustavo Amanicapa!
