The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Johnson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Tshabalala sprawls well. Tshabalala wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Johnson gets slowly back to his feet.

Tshabalala might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Johnson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tshabalala keeps working.
