Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Paddy Fox!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Big D!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Paul Tew and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fox keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
D will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Fox just misses with a punch to the body.
Fox dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on D. That did some damage!

Fox shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. D is trying to defend but Fox finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Fox is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Fox trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

D looking for submissions off his back.

Fox gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Fox goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Fox keeps D at a distance using the push kick.
D looks gassed!

D takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.

D takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Fox fails in his attempt to clinch.

Fox lands a big head kick that sends D tumbling to the mat! Fox takes a step backwards and waves D back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Fox closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
D tries to roll over but Fox keeps him under control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

D tries to get to full guard but Fox has control of the leg.

D manages to get to full guard.

D throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
D trying to keep a closed guard but Fox is proving a slippery customer.
Fox stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. D swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fox tries to stand but D is controlling from the bottom.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
D is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Paddy Fox dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!

Fox fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt D.

Fox takes the fight into the clinch.
Fox is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that D can do to turn this around?

and Fox counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
D is breathing heavily.

Fox throws a right hand that D ducks under and follows up with a left that D also avoids with ease.
Fox throws a head kick but D moves out of range.

letting Fox counter with a right hand.
Paddy Fox has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Big D.

and Fox counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps D thinking.

and Fox counters with a head kick that drops D to the mat! D scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!


D is rocked!


It looks like Big D has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Fox closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks D out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:41 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Paddy Fox!
