Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Wood Norris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jackson Michaels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Norris misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Norris looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Norris is looking for submissions but instead, Michaels has regained full guard.

Norris stands and steps away. Michaels gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Norris tries for a takedown but Michaels sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Norris looks to land a combination but Michaels avoids it well.

Michaels blocks a leg kick.
Norris throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Michaels's waist but Michaels gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Norris off to one side.
Norris shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Michaels as he avoids it easily.
Norris is breathing heavily.
Norris looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
An inside leg kick from Norris misses.
Wood Norris seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Norris throws a right hand that Michaels ducks under and follows up with a left that Michaels also avoids with ease.
Norris tries a head kick but it misses.
Norris shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Michaels pinned against the cage. Michaels gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Norris closes the distance and clinches up with Michaels, looking for a takedown. Norris pushes Michaels against the cage but Michaels circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Michaels throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Michaels throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Norris misses with a takedown attempt - Michaels sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Michaels clinches up with Norris and pushes him back against the cage.

Michaels jumps into guard, dragging Norris to the mat.

Michaels had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Norris is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Michaels Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Norris's back instead.

Michaels working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Norris is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Michaels has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Norris taps out!
