Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jose Lopez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dino Cazares (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cazares has chosen powershifter as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cazares throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lopez.
Lopez ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Lopez shoots in for a takedown but Cazares shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Cazares throws an overhand right that lands on Lopez's shoulder, as Lopez tries to avoid the shot.

Lopez shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Cazares napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Lopez swings around for an armbar but Cazares sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Lopez's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Cazares got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lopez has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Cazares has managed to get both his arms back between Lopez's legs - danger averted.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Cazares accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Lopez is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Cazares is aware though and is defending well.

Cazares stands up and waves to Lopez to follow him.
Lopez fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Lopez is breathing heavily.
Cazares lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Lopez can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Cazares and Lopez drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Cazares.
