Mederios's entrance music is Amazing Grace by The Dropkick Murphys. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mederios fails with a takedown attempt.
Mederios swinging wilding here.
Mederios jabs at Taylor's body.
Taylor will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Mederios throws a lazy right hand but Taylor sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Taylor fails with an attempt to clinch.
Mederios throws a head kick that misses.
Taylor circles away from the clinch attempt.
Mederios shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Taylor but Taylor pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Mederios lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Mederios tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Mederios fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Taylor on the side of the head.
Mederios lands a jab to the head.

Taylor is rocked!
Mederios throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Taylor is still on wobbly legs! Can Mederios finish him?
Mederios is breathing heavily.
Taylor tries to clinch up but Mederios circles away and keeps his distance.
Taylor seems to have recovered his senses.
Taylor scores with a one two! Mederios had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Mederios dips to his left and cracks Taylor with an uppercut!
Mederios tries to clinch there but Taylor circles away.
Taylor throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Mederios throws a nice looking combination but Taylor bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Taylor feints and as Mederios raises his hands in defense, Taylor changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Mederios keeping moving, preventing Taylor from controlling successfully.

Mederios has his feet on Taylor's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

Mederios walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Taylor drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Mederios swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Taylor's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
