The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Richard Clark and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fifer tries a head kick but it misses.
Fifer stuffs the takedown.
Fifer misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Fifer swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Dale closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Dale is controlling the pace.
The fighters are battling for position here. Fifer manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Fifer working for a triangle but Dale defends it easily.
Fifer tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Dale is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Dale works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Dale lands strikes from half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fifer wants to improve his position but Dale is controlling well.
Fifer moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Fifer is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Fifer keeping full guard, as Dale tries to pass.
Dale controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Fifer working for a triangle but Dale defends it easily.
Fifer is breathing heavily.
Fifer is striking but Dale is not phased and passes to half guard.
Fifer is trying to get back to full guard.
Dale is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Dale drops an elbow to the side of Fifer's head.
Fifer might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Fifer tries to roll over but Dale keeps him under control.
Dale content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Dale's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Fifer wants to sweep but Dale has passed to side control!
Fifer seems a little lost for a moment, as Dale dominates the positioning.
Fifer tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Dale just content to control the position.
Fifer looks to move to half guard but instead Dale has passed into mount! Damn!

Dale throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Fifer has his hands clasped together but Dale breaks the hold and Fifer is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Dale!
