Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Francis Cardon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Francois Fillemone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fillemone fails in his attempt to clinch.
Fillemone will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Cardon circles away from the clinch attempt.
Fillemone swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Fillemone shoots in looking for a takedown. Cardon tries to sprawl out of it but Fillemone keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Cardon manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Cardon changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Fillemone looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Cardon throws a strike aimed at the side of Fillemone's head but Fillemone avoids it well.
Cardon cracks Fillemone with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Cardon fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Fillemone takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cardon lands a few punches from side control.

Cardon wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Fillemone, who protects the arm well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Fillemone manages to work his way to half guard, despite Cardon's best efforts.

Cardon wants to stand but Fillemone has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Fillemone lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Cardon!

Fillemone jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Cardon is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Cardon and Fillemone has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Fillemone is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Cardon is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Fillemone thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Cardon wants to get back to his feet.

Cardon is pushing Fillemone's head away, looking to escape. Fillemone manages to hold on to the position though.

Cardon on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Cardon tries to get out of the position.

Fillemone has hold of Cardon's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Cardon tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Fillemone cranks the arm and Cardon screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Cardon, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
