The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones throws a head kick that misses.
Jones throws a body kick that misses.
Cardona fails with a takedown attempt.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mac Mac Cardona. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jones fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Cardona is out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cardona shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jones pinned against the cage. Jones gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Jones feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Cardona's calf.

Jones throws a front kick aimed at Cardona's knee but Cardona avoids it well.
Jones tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Cardona avoids the head kick by Jones.
Jones misses with a low kick as Cardona jumps back.
A good leg kick by Jones.
Jones looks for the body kick but Cardona saw that one coming.
Jones keeps the fight on the outside.
Jones throws the kick towards the body but Cardona avoids it.
Jones tries to land a front kick but Cardona steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Jones lands a big head kick that sends Cardona tumbling to the mat! Jones takes a step backwards and waves Cardona back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Mac Mac Cardona has been cut.

Oh Cardona is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Cardona chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Jones can pounce on him.
Cardona seems to have got his legs back now.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Jones - that will leave a mark!
Jones lands a brutal head kick. Cardona looks out on his feet and Jones throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
