Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Alex Vargas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Satqiel Ayperos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vargas comes to the cage accompanied by Speedin' -- Rick Ross. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ayperos looks to score with a jab to the body but Vargas is just out of range.

Vargas passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Ayperos!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Vargas is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Ayperos can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Vargas takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Ayperos is in all sorts of trouble here.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Vargas shoots in and drives through. Ayperos sprawls well.
Ayperos throws a body kick that misses.
Ayperos loads up on a big right hand but Vargas slips the punch.
Vargas avoids the head kick by Ayperos.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Vargas.
The fighters circling - Vargas throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Vargas lands a really nice looking cross but Ayperos seems unphased.
Vargas closes the distance and clinches up with Ayperos, looking for a takedown. Vargas pushes Ayperos against the cage but Ayperos circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Satqiel Ayperos showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Vargas throws a looping overhand right but Ayperos ducks down to avoid it.

Vargas shoots for a double leg takedown but Ayperos sprawls well. He's pushed Vargas's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Vargas moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Ayperos has worked his arm free - good work by Ayperos!

I would just about give that final round to Satqiel Ayperos.
I think Ayperos has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
