Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dirk Bandana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Russell Jacobs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bandana comes to the cage accompanied by Los del Rio - La Macarena. Jacobs comes into a darkened arena with his song building. WhiteRabbit-Percussion Gun kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bandana misses with a body kick.
Jacobs rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bandana moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Jacobs connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Bandana momentarily.

It looks like Dirk Bandana has been cut.
Jacobs lands a slapping body shot.

Bandana shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Bandana showed some decent athleticism there.
Bandana is thwarting Jacobs's attempts to control the position.
Jacobs gets back to full guard.
Jacobs looking to hit a scissor sweep but Bandana is one step ahead there.

Bandana thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Jacobs lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Bandana!

Bandana is bucking up trying to escape but Jacobs cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Jacobs is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Bandana can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Jacobs postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Bandana looks a forlorn figure.

Jacobs has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Bandana's face.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bandana holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Jacobs tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Jacobs avoids the attempt from Bandana to control.

Bandana is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Jacobs is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Jacobs sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
