Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Congo Ashantie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manuel Fistyrian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ashantie comes to the cage accompanied by Congo Ashanti. Fistyrian has chosen Metallica - Enter sandman as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Manuel Fistyrian!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Nard Betker and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ashantie finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Ashantie digs a good hook to Fistyrian's body.
Fistyrian checks a leg kick.
Fistyrian uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Ashantie.
Ashantie throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Fistyrian is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ashantie.
Ashantie throws a big shot that misses.
Ashantie dodges the punch combination from Fistyrian.
Ashantie throws a wild body kick that Fistyrian sees coming a mile off.
Ashantie lands a nice shot to the body.
Ashantie throws a hook but Fistyrian blocks it.
Ashantie looks to land a left hand but Fistyrian moved out of range nicely.
Ashantie tries to clinch but Fistyrian is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Fistyrian throws out a loose jab but Ashantie uses good head movement to avoid it.
Fistyrian scores with a leg kick.
Ashantie lands a left and a right that send Fistyrian crashing to the mat, dazed. Ashantie thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Manuel Fistyrian has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Fistyrian avoids the head kick by Ashantie.
Ashantie closes the distance and clinches.
Ashantie prevents the takedown attempt.
Ashantie lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Ashantie trying to stall but Fistyrian improves his position.
A knee to the head by Ashantie.
Fistyrian stalling in the clinch but Ashantie improves position.
Ashantie is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
A short right from Fistyrian.
Fistyrian drops down looking for an ankle pick but Ashantie pulls his leg out and moves away.
Fistyrian has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Fistyrian there as he acknowledges the shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ashantie circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Fistyrian to the canvas! Fistyrian doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Ashantie keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Congo Ashantie!
