Caldeira has chosen under the bridge- red hot chili peppers as his entrance music. Ron Oneil has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Caldeira tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Caldeira closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Caldeira really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Oneil. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Caldeira closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Oneil to the mat! Oneil manages to get full guard.
Caldeira must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Let's hope that Caldeira has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Caldeira has eaten all the pies!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Caldeira has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Oneil is proving hard to escape from.
