Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Perkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matthew Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kane throws a body punch but Perkins moves out of range.
Perkins throws a hook but Kane avoids it easily.
Kane connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Kane fails to land the takedown.
Kane has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Kane there as he acknowledges the shot.
Kane takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Perkins pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Kane shoots for a takedown but Perkins saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Kane shoots in looking for a takedown. Perkins tries to sprawl out of it but Kane keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Perkins manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Kane tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Perkins paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Kane throws a strike aimed at the side of Perkins's head but Perkins avoids it well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Perkins bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Perkins scores with a hook to the body. Kane takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Perkins lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Perkins swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Kane stalks Perkins and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Perkins's face. Perkins staggers backwards, shaken.

Kane shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Perkins is trying to defend but Kane finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Kane walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Perkins checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Perkins gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Kane stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Perkins swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Kane throws and elbow that misses. Perkins uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Kane's guard. Nice move by Perkins!

Kane throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Perkins works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kane can do anything to dispel that myth.
