The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

koukan has closed the distance and engaged svkeg in a clinch.
koukan jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as svkeg walks away with a smile on his face. koukan gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
svkeg looks to score with a jab to the body but koukan is just out of range.
svkeg lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

It looks like von koukan has been cut.
koukan shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts svkeg as he jumps to the side.
svkeg misses with a wild combination.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from koukan.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for von koukan. That's going to take a lot out of him.
svkeg tries to bum rush koukan with a series of wild strikes but koukan uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

koukan throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and svkeg connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
svkeg stuffs the takedown.

svkeg bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

von koukan's cut is getting worse.
svkeg throws a right hand that koukan ducks under and follows up with a left that koukan also avoids with ease.

and svkeg counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
koukan is breathing heavily.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for koukan. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
svkeg throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent koukan stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
svkeg lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
svkeg bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of koukan's head.

von koukan's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

svkeg fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
svkeg swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
svkeg fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches koukan on the side of the head.

Jeez, von koukan's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at von koukan's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
