Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dan Stann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Anthony (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stann fails to land with a series of punches.

Mark Anthony is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Stann takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Stann. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Stann throws a lazy right hand but Anthony sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Stann seems to have got his legs back now.
This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Stann might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

Jeez, Dan Stann's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Stann moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
