PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yuffie Kisaragi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marlon Worthy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kisaragi comes into the arena with Wanted Man by Rev Theory blaring out of the sound system. Worthy comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Drop the world kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Yuffie Kisaragi could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Marlon Worthy's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Yuffie Kisaragi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marlon Worthy!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Alyssa Summers and Jonathan Paton.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Worthy dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Kisaragi is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Kisaragi lands a big shot there that rocks Worthy but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Kisaragi goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Worthy is on top in guard.

Worthy lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
