Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Seu Braga and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brazzo moves in looking to clinch but Galvao pushes him off.
Galvao swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Galvao looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Brazzo trying to keep a closed guard but Galvao is proving a slippery customer.
Galvao really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Brazzo might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Galvao kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Galvao drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Brazzo dives on top into guard.

Brazzo has hold of Galvao's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Galvao manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Galvao is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Brazzo wants to stand but Galvao has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
