Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Tupper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hitoshi Masaru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bobby Tupper has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tupper avoids the head kick by Masaru.
Masaru connects with a solid leg kick.
Masaru throws a head kick but Tupper moves out of range.
Masaru misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Tupper avoids a kick to the body.
Masaru dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Tupper. That did some damage!

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Tupper wants to get up but he can't break Masaru's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
