Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Obaseki Akhirome (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Kama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akhirome shoots in and bounces Kama off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Kama wants to sweep here but Akhirome controlling him for the moment.
Kama working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Akhirome.
Akhirome got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kama has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Akhirome has managed to get both his arms back between Kama's legs - danger averted.

Kama gets control of Akhirome's arms and successfully pulls guard. Kama will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Kama thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
I wouldn't like to be where Akhirome is right now.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Akhirome is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Kama working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

and Akhirome counters with a nice double leg into side control. Kama won't be happy with that.

Akhirome throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kama's waist but Kama gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Akhirome off to one side.

Akhirome is looking to improve his position but Kama isn't that keen on the idea.

Kama swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Akhirome is now in Kama's guard. A big mistake from Kama there, giving up the dominant position!

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Kama connects with a nice short shot to Akhirome's temple.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

and Akhirome counters by clinching up.

Kama had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Akhirome defends it easily.
Kama lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Akhirome!

Akhirome sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Kama is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Akhirome is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Akhirome has escaped and now he's on top!
Kama has his feet on Akhirome's thighs here. He's pushed Akhirome off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Akhirome screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
