Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Miles DAvis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dick Hommis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). DAvis comes to the cage accompanied by Miles DAvis - someday my prince will come. Miles DAvis has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DAvis is looking to chop away at Hommis's legs.
DAvis shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hommis as he avoids it easily.
DAvis dives in and grabs Hommis's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hommis pushes down on DAvis's head and hops out.
Hommis gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Hommis stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hommis wants it to stay on the feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

DAvis tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Hommis just stands there and leans against the cage.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
