Lesnariano's entrance music is Alice Cooper - Schools Out. A fine choice. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Dmitry Maklakov and Fedor Mirinova.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lesnariano misses with a takedown attempt - Kochergin sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Kochergin bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Lesnariano's head backwards.

It looks like Brocky Lesnariano has been cut.

Kochergin cracks Lesnariano with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Lesnariano shoots in looking for a takedown. Kochergin tries to sprawl out of it but Lesnariano keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kochergin manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Kochergin throws out a powerful jab.
Brocky Lesnariano seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Danga de danga de dang - Kochergin scores with a four punch combination!
Lesnariano changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kochergin tries to avoid it but Lesnariano manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kochergin to the ground. Kochergin escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brocky Lesnariano. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Lesnariano closes the distance and clinches up with Kochergin, looking for a takedown. Lesnariano pushes Kochergin against the cage but Kochergin circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A head kick by Kochergin - that's a beauty! Lesnariano is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Kochergin can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
