Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Leroy Brown!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ramon Samara!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Damien Edna and Donatello Bradman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Samara finds it's way round the side to connect with Brown's head.

It looks like Leroy Brown has been cut.
A good leg kick by Brown.
Samara chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Brown can pounce on him.
Samara throws a right hand that Brown ducks under and follows up with a left that Brown also avoids with ease.
Brown slips a jab and a cross from Samara.
Samara ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Brown moves away.
Brown lands a nice shot to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Brown with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Samara looks gassed!
Brown moves in looking to clinch but Samara pushes him off.

Brown gets a clinch.

Brown manages to break the clinch.
Leroy Brown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Samara bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Brown's head backwards.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Brown.
Brown throws a right and a left that both miss.
Brown goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

It looks like Ramon Samara has been cut.

Brown moves into the clinch successfully.

Brown breaks the clinch.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Brown. Samara shrugs it off though.

Brown forces Samara back against the cage and clinches.

Brown escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Brown connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Brown throws a head kick that Samara semi-blocks.
Brown lands with a kick to the temple. Samara shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Brown has closed the distance and engaged Samara in a clinch.

Brown pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Samara walks forward, straight into a front kick from Brown.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Brown lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Brown wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Brown throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Samara's head.

Brown drops Samara with a left and a right! Oh, Samara is hurt - Brown dives into side control looking to finish!

Samara is rocked!
Brown creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Samara is still in real trouble! Can Brown finish him?
A big shot lands for Brown! That's hurt Samara! Will he recover? Brown fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
