Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Peter Paul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gerald Hodges (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paul's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, DMX. Peter Paul had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 146.1lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paul shoots in looking for a takedown. Hodges tries to sprawl out of it but Paul keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hodges manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Paul avoids the head kick by Hodges.
Hodges throws a wild body kick that Paul sees coming a mile off.
Peter Paul seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hodges cracks the inside of Paul's front leg.
Hodges leaves Paul with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
