Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Royce Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rauno Viittala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Alexandre Firmino and Luis Engracia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Viittala lands a nice looking body shot.
Viittala scoring well with a low kick there.
Viittala lands a jab-cross combination.

Gracie shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Viittala as he jumps to the side.

Gracie drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Viittala tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Gracie wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Gracie tries to advance to mount but can't.
Gracie tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.

Gracie throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Viittala's waist but Viittala gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gracie off to one side.

Gracie has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Viittala avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
