Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dog Beta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pizzazz Longez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dog Beta!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pizzazz Longez!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Luis Engracia and Paulo Santos.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Longez ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Beta moves away.
Beta is looking to land body kicks.
Longez misses with a body shot.
Beta tries to move into range but Longez moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Beta scores with a hook to the body. Longez takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Beta misses with a jab, cross combination.

Beta fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Longez, pushing him back against the cage.
Longez managing to block the knees to the body from Beta.

Beta wants the takedown. Longez is fighting it off but Beta persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Longez's guard against the cage.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Longez is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Beta is controlling him.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Longez is pulling down on Beta's head. It's preventing any offense from Beta, at least for the moment.
Longez is looking to sweep but instead, Beta has passed into half guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Longez can do anything to dispel that myth.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Beta is figuring out what he wants to do next.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

A slow jab from Longez misses its intended target.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Beta avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Longez is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Beta.

and Beta counters by moving into the clinch.
Beta throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Longez blocks it with crossed arms.

Longez has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Beta breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Longez fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Beta manages to avoid it.
Beta ducks under a wild hook from Longez.
Beta swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Longez counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

and Beta counters with a flying knee. Nice.

Beta shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Longez pinned against the cage. Longez gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Longez looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

and Beta connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Beta is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Longez wants to hold on but Beta pushes him away.
Beta can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Longez is looking to escape.

Longez is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Longez is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Longez might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Beta kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Beta controlling the position easily from mount.

Dog Beta dominated that second round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Beta tries to clinch but Longez is having none of it.
Dog Beta is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Longez throws a hook but Beta blocks it.
Pizzazz Longez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Longez throws the left hand but Beta avoids the punch easily.
Longez scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Beta is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Beta misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Longez loads up on a big right hand but Beta slips the punch.
Longez fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Beta manages to avoid it.

enabling Longez to counter with a crisp jab.

Beta has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Beta there as he acknowledges the shot.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Longez misses with an uppercut.
Pizzazz Longez seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Beta keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Longez lands with a right that hurts Beta. Beta looks to clinch but Longez throws a short knee that drops Beta. This one is all over!
