The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shane stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Shane wants it to stay on the feet.
fighter displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Shane.

and Shane counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Shane.

fighter is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Shane defends well.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

It looks like Sean Shane has been cut.

Oh Shane is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
fighter's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Shane seems to have got his legs back now.
Shane has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. fighter avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Shane is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because fighter is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Shane is looking to improve his position but fighter isn't that keen on the idea.
Shane wants to control but fighter is having none of it.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

fighter circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Shane drops to the canvas, hurt badly! fighter follows Shane to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
