Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between mikai arcisais (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Montey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like James Montey has been cut.

Montey clinches up with arcisais and pushes him back against the cage.

Montey feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Montey got a little sloppy there for a moment and arcisais has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Montey has managed to get both his arms back between arcisais's legs - danger averted.

Let's hope that Montey has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

I would just about give that final round to James Montey.
Well Montey has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
