Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jones misses with the combination.
Jones tries a head kick but it misses.
Jones throws a nice looking combination but Fairtex bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Jones throws a head kick but Fairtex moves out of range.
Jones thows a left - swing and a miss!
Jones throws a head kick but Fairtex moves out of range.
Jones shoots in and drives through. Fairtex sprawls well.
Jones throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Fairtex lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fairtex ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Jones misses with a two punch combination.
Jones rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Fairtex moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Jones keeps the fight on the outside.
Fairtex lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fairtex throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
A head kick by Jones misses
and Fairtex cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Jones is breathing heavily.
Jones changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fairtex tries to avoid it but Jones manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fairtex to the ground. Fairtex escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Jones misses with a jab to the body
and Fairtex counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Jones is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Fairtex has Jones up against the cage in a clinch.

Fairtex is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Jones can't fight it off and eventually Fairtex manages to take the fight to the floor. Jones looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Fairtex tries to free his leg and advance position but Jones is retaining full guard.

Fairtex is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Jones has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Fairtex is looking to defend but Jones has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Fairtex! Jones pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Fairtex taps out and this one is all over!
