The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Douglas throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Brooke Douglas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Douglas throws a head kick that Roy semi-blocks.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Douglas, right into the meat.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Douglas.
Douglas scores with a push kick.
Douglas lands a front kick.
Douglas leaves Roy with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Roy takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Roy chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Douglas can pounce on him.
Roy throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Douglas's waist but Douglas gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Roy off to one side.
Roy takes a kick to the side of the head.
Douglas pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Douglas tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Roy scores with a decent looking hook.

Roy closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Roy pulls Douglas into guard.

Douglas is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Roy has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Douglas is looking to defend but Roy has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Douglas! Roy pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Douglas taps out and this one is all over!
