Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mac Day (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brad Finley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Finley's choice of entrance music: Bitch/Lover. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Brad Finley!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Saam Ante and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Day shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Day showed some decent athleticism there.
Finley tries to roll over but Day keeps him under control.
Day wants to lay and pray for a moment but Finley keeps working.
Finley is trying to get back to full guard.
Finley is trying to control but can't.
Finley is looking to improve his position.
Day is looking to take a break and control but Finley is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Finley gets full guard.

Day gets to his feet. Finley looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Day ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Day drops down looking for an ankle pick but Finley pulls his leg out and moves away.
Finley lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Day circles away quickly and effectively.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Finley wants to get back to his feet but Day is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Finley uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Day.

Mac Day dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Finley throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Day stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Finley throws a right and a left that both miss.
Finley fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Horrible takedown by Day or perhaps it was just good defense by Finley which made him look bad.

Finley is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Finley's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Finley bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Day's guard.
Day avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Finley swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Finley tries to bum rush Day with a series of wild strikes but Day uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Day takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Day shoots in for a double leg but Finley sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Mac Day overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Finley tries to stand but Day is controlling from the bottom.

Brad Finley showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!


Finley throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Day.

Day shoots in and bounces Finley off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Day moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Day uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Finley.
Finley throws a right hand that Day ducks under and follows up with a left that Day also avoids with ease.

and Finley counters with a lovely shot to the body.

and Day counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Finley!

Finley tries to lock up and control but Day gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Finley reaches up to try and control the position but Day seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Finley rolls and tries to escape and now Day has his back!

Finley defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Day's arms.
Finley turns into Day and is now in his guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Finley cracks Day with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mac Day.
I think Day has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
