Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Decimus Aurelio!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jack Stone!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stone scores with a takedown into Aurelio's guard.
Aurelio can't keep his opponent in guard - Stone advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Aurelio wants to control but Stone is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Aurelio moves into full guard.
Stone wants to control from the top but Aurelio keeps moving.
Aurelio bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Stone's guard.
Aurelio throws a big right hand that misses.
Aurelio postures up in Stone's guard and throws a big left but Stone blocks it.
Aurelio has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Aurelio wants to control from the top but Stone keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Aurelio fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Stone sprawls well initially but Aurelio persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Stone drops back looking for a leg! Aurelio is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Aurelio manages to kick Stone off! Stone jumps back into Aurelio's guard.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!



Excellent takedown into side control there by Aurelio.

Aurelio is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Stone stands and throws Aurelio's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Stone is working for a submission of some sort.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Aurelio misses with a takedown attempt - Stone sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!



Aurelio feints and as Stone raises his hands in defense, Aurelio changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Aurelio throws a strike but Stone rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Stone trying to control but Aurelio is working from the bottom.

Stone drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Stone jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Jack Stone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Aurelio is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Stone can't fight it off and eventually Aurelio manages to take the fight to the floor. Stone looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

I would just about give that final round to Jack Stone.
Well Aurelio has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
