The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, James Atkins and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Karlsson tries to clinch there but Giant circles away.
Karlsson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Giant paws at him with a jab and circles away.

It looks like Andre Giant has been cut.
Karlsson moves in looking to clinch but Giant pushes him off.
Karlsson gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Giant to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Giant trying to control the position from guard on top but Karlsson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Giant is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
I looks like Giant might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Karlsson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Giant's guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Giant can do anything to dispel that myth.

Giant has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Karlsson avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Giant has hold of one of Karlsson's legs. Karlsson is fighting the takedown attempt but Giant gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Karlsson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Giant closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Giant with the ground and pound but Karlsson regains half guard under the barage of strikes.
And thats the end of the round the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Andre Giant's cut.
That's time! Karlsson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Giant keeps the fight on the outside.
Giant shoots in but no luck this time.
Look low, kick high! Karlsson uses the oldest trick in the book to send Giant tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Karlsson is absolutely delighted - when Giant wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
