The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Suk Yong misses with a few strikes there.

Suk Yong ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Perez moves away.
Suk Yong takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Suk Yong chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Perez can pounce on him.

Perez feints and then cracks Suk Yong's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Suk Yong down.

Suk Yong takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Perez connects with a nice short shot to Suk Yong's temple.

Perez in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Suk Yong tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Perez!
