Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ulf Lundell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mirko Filipovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lundell comes to the cage accompanied by Lundell. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lundell throws a head kick but Filipovic moves out of range.

Lundell misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Ulf Lundell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lundell closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Lundell lands in his opponent's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lundell drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Lundell jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Filipovic will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

The fighters circle momentarily. Filipovic darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Filipovic lunges at Lundell with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Lundell's hand.

Lundell is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Filipovic is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Filipovic flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Lundell anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Filipovic and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Lundell slips an arm under Filipovic chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Lundell has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Lundell is squeezing on Filipovic like an anaconda would it's prey. Filipovic fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
