The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yukihiro Shimada and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mahmi looks to score with a jab to the body but Monuwe is just out of range.
Monuwe displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Mahmi throws out the jab.
Mahmi looks to land a right hand but Monuwe moved out of range.
The fighters circling - Mahmi throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Monuwe with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Mahmi to score with a decent uppercut.
Mahmi is looking to slow Monuwe down with leg kicks.
Monuwe misses with a takedown attempt - Mahmi sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Mahmi misses the jab.
Mahmi swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Mahmi throws a quick inside leg kick.
Monuwe tries for a takedown but Mahmi sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
An inside leg kick lands from Mahmi.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mahmi lands a right hook to the body.
Monuwe looks gassed!
Monuwe on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Mahmi bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Monuwe's head.

Mahmi dips to his left and cracks Monuwe with an uppercut!
An inside leg kick lands from Mahmi.
Monuwe takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Mahmi cracks Monuwe with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Mahmi has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Monuwe to stand back up!
Monuwe is rocked!
Monuwe circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Mahmi. Monuwe falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Mahmi!
