Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ride Grierson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Goran Iliantovjic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Iliantovjic has chosen Iggy Pop - The Passenger as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Iliantovjic looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Iliantovjic is looking to clinch but Grierson is avoiding it.
Grierson circles away from the clinch attempt.

Grierson scores with a takedown into Iliantovjic's guard.
Iliantovjic is looking to stand up but Grierson isn't so interested in that idea.

Grierson gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Iliantovjic tries to clinch but Grierson moves out of range.
Iliantovjic is looking to clinch but Grierson is avoiding it.
Iliantovjic throws a right and a left that both miss.

Iliantovjic closes the distance and pushes Grierson back into the cage.

With the fighters up against the cage, Iliantovjic throws an elbow but misses.
Iliantovjic's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Iliantovjic lands an elbow just above Grierson 's eye.

Iliantovjic tries to clinch up but Grierson circles away and keeps his distance.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Iliantovjic tries a head kick but it misses.
Iliantovjic misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Iliantovjic is looking to clinch but Grierson is avoiding it.
A combination from Iliantovjic does no damage.

Grierson shoots in and bounces Iliantovjic off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Iliantovjic wants to get back to his feet but Grierson is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Grierson stands and throws Iliantovjic's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Iliantovjic is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Iliantovjic looks gassed!
Iliantovjic is not content to let Grierson control the position.
Iliantovjic wants to get back to his feet but Grierson drags him back down.

Grierson tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Iliantovjic is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Grierson has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Iliantovjic is looking to get back to his feet here but Grierson is keeping cool and he's managed to take Iliantovjic's back.

Iliantovjic is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Iliantovjic is trying to defend against the choke here but Grierson has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Grierson Tightens the hold and Iliantovjic taps out furiously! Grierson displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
