Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Adrian Freebird (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Wright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Freebird's entrance music is Freebird. A fine choice. Adrian Freebird is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Adrian Freebird!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Wright!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Cecil Peabody and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freebird changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Wright tries to avoid it but Freebird manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Wright to the ground. Wright escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Freebird misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Wright stuns Freebird with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Wright tries to clinch up but Freebird circles away and keeps his distance.
Wright is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Wright looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Wright closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Wright lands in his opponent's guard.
Wright pushes down on Freebird's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Wright thows a huge punch but Freebird dodges it nicely.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wright winds up and cracks Freebird with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Wright with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.

Wright in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Freebird tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Wright!
